I attend the Worship Him conference this year and was blessed beyond measures.

When planning for next year could ( which i am soooo going) if possible if you could bring back  Peter Moncrieff, Elder Cedric Ford, of course Cece and Pastor Donnie, Martha Munuzzi, Maurette Brown-Clark

but this conference truly blessed me giving me a true understanding of what worship is really about.

Thank you for listening to God and definitely listening to Holy Ghost because I know there must of been some decisions on the way that made a great amount of difference in the success of the conference.

I just wanted to thank you so much for organizing such an excellent conference!!!!  I could only imagine the time and effort given to make an event of this magnitude so special. It was truly amazing !!  I personally benefited the most from Dr Michael Taylor's session. I found it so enlightening that  I ordered the CD to hear it again.

Toronto was the place to be May 15th thru May 17th for the Worship Him Conference 2008. The top names in Gospel music came together at Canada Christian College for three days of seminars, showcases, and unforgettable concerts.

The Worship Him Conference brought together an endless stream of Gospel talent for three nights of intense praise and worship. Thursday night started off with Maurette Brown-Clark and Donnie McClurkin. Friday night included Cedric Ford, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and CeCe Winans. And Saturday night included a 4 hour-plus ticketed concert with Kevin Bond, Martha Munizzi and the energetic Tye Tribbett and Greater Anointing.

Worship was the theme of the conference, organized by Karen Brown of Karian Christian Supply of suburban Toronto, and there was a lot to be learned by the hundreds of people in attendance. The phrase “Are there any true worshippers in the house” was used over and over by many of the event's speakers, along with “Tell your neighbor...” and “Keep it going, now. Don't stop, don't stop, don't stop.” This was not a conference for the faint of heart, with its extremely loud bands (the bass alone shook the room and people's bones) and some of the most lively, charismatic speakers, performers, and worshippers in the world gathered together for foot-stompin', hand-clappin', arm-raisin' music celebrating the Lord.

Donnie McClurkin used his over-the-top, animated, theatrical form of oratory to explain the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus in an especially powerful way, also making statements about how certain media people like Oprah Winfrey and Joel Osteen are leading people astray with their influential TV presentations on spiritual matters, presentations that often don't agree with what the Bible says about who God is and His relationship with us. McClurkin should have his own one man show on Broadway because He'd reach a lot more people that way-- people who don't already know and love Christ in a personal relationship sort of way, because it seems he's preaching to the choir when he sticks with delivering a strong message to mostly black church folks who should already know and follow Gospel basics.

Kevin Bond's seminar was smart, succinct, and thought-provoking. Bond, a Grammy-winning producer known for his work with Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, and Marvin Sapp, told the crowd about the power of MUSIC: it *M*otivates the worshipper to worship God, it *U*nifies people, it *S*hifts the atmosphere in any place, it *I*lluminates the preached word, and it *C*arries the anointing of a sermon in song form.

Dorinda Clark-Cole was physically exhausted after a long week of travel and being hassled at the airport by customs inspectors, but never-the-less gave 110%, almost losing her voice the way she preached with fiery intensity as if there was no tomorrow. She told the crowd to tell those next to them that “money's coming to my house, from the north, south, east and west,” and asked everyone to be on the lookout for their miracle that would come between Tuesday and Thursday of this week after having most of the crowd assembled sow a seed of $10 up on the stage.

Martha Munizzi gave a moving talk about how important humility is for those who worship God and want God to use and promote them in life. Interestingly, this was after she spent time hyping a pile of products she brought with her to sell to the crowd “Buy 1 get 1 free” so they could have the resources she didn't have when she was coming up in the worship music world a few years ago.

Tye Tribbett made the crowd very nervous when he basically told them he knew they had Lil Wayne and Jay-Z on their i-Pods and that secular music was helping them move away from God rather than toward Him. He also made people nervous when he mentioned how a lot of young people today are doing things like mime, dance, and clapping for the Lord, but forgetting to use their voice to praise Him out loud. The idea was that there's a strong power when you speak, sing and/or shout to the Lord, but tough guys and cute chicks in church tend to keep their mouths shut and miss out on relating to God in a powerful way that God intended.

The Worship Him Conference had many wonderful moments, and managed to bring a diverse crowd of people together from Ontario, Quebec, New York, Pennsylvania, and California. Held at Canada Christian College, and featuring Toronto's own impressive Worship In Motion dancers, along with an engaging New Artist Showcase, the event seemed to be a hit with those in attendance who responded with an enthusiastic yes when asked by event organizers if a similar conference should take place again next year.
